TutorCruncher has a new look. Live to all customers from June 2026, TutorCruncher has a new, refreshed look and feel to its platform.
We know that we’ve been the engine behind tutoring companies of all sizes for years, and we know how important it is for the software you use in your business to reduce friction in your day-to-day work. That’s why we’ve made some changes to our platform's User Interface (UI).
This isn't just a fresh coat of paint. We've rethought how TutorCruncher works day-to-day, making it faster, cleaner, and more intuitive so you can spend less time navigating the platform and more time running your business.
What’s new on TutorCruncher's platform?
The short answer is lots. With a cleaner layout, faster navigation, and clearer information hierarchy, TutorCruncher’s latest update makes our platform faster, cleaner, and more intuitive.
The underlying functionality is still the same, though. You’ll be able to run payroll, manage your lessons, and do everything you need to run your business effectively.
The colours and overall user interface have been refreshed to give TutorCruncher a modern, polished feel. As well as core updates to the dashboard, scheduling, and tutor and client profiles, which make the platform easier to use.
TutorCruncher is designed for the way you work
This design has been powered by our customers. Getting deep into the weeds of how you use our platform and how we can make it work better for you.
Beyond the new design, we've made a number of changes to make your everyday experience smoother.
3 key updates you need to know:
1. Breadcrumb navigation: We’ve implemented breadcrumbs so that you always know where you are in the platform and can navigate back and forth quickly.
2. Redesigned client pipeline: Our client pipeline has been improved so you can edit, remove, and add stages all in one place without jumping between screens.
3. Improved Search: Searching for users or accounting items is now grouped to make it easier to find what you're looking for.
Easier for everyone, not just admins
This new design is for everyone. From tutors logging hours to clients paying invoices, everyone who uses the platform will benefit from these updates.
This includes:
✔️ Labels can now be searched and added or removed without the page refreshing.
✔️ TutorCruncher now works seamlessly across devices, so you can manage your business on the go.
✔️ Invoices have been restructured to display content more clearly.
✔️ Key actions on jobs, lessons, and role pages have been pulled out of large dropdowns for quicker access.
✔️ Translations can now be searched and filtered by those already translated.
And this is just the beginning - we have plenty more user experience and user interface improvements in the pipeline! 🚀
Keeping the transition smooth
We know how important it is to roll out changes like this in stages, to give tutoring businesses the chance to get used to the new look and feel without it interrupting their work.
All our existing customers have been able to access the new look platform and toggle between new and old while they get used to the new functionality. This is so that no one's day is slowed down by the changes.
From 1st June 2026, everyone will be fully onboarded onto the new look platform. But don’t worry, we’ve made sure that core workflows haven’t moved dramatically, and all our help docs are up-to-date.
